Foodsock
Food Sock is a brand of affordable, shelf-stable, and nutritional meal kits developed in South Africa to provide quick, cost-effective, and wholesome family meals. Each pack contains locally sourced, dehydrated ingredients (such as pasta, rice, legumes, and a soya protein base) that only require boiling water and about 30 minutes of simmering to prepare. Developed alongside well-known South African chefs like Francois Ferreira and Nataniël, these one-pot meals generally are designed to feed a family of 4 to 6 people. They have a 12-month shelf life and do not require refrigeration, making them popular for households, student living, camping, and community poverty relief
